After collecting and analyzing data from various sources such as the National Transit Database (NTD), U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) shows that the use of public transportation has significantly reduced greenhouse emissions, which plays an important role in slowing climate change.
