Transentry Faregate End of Life Announcement (EOL)

The Transentry Faregate has been officially sunset by Genfare. This End of Life Announcement (EOL) is to notify our clients this equipment and software is no longer available for purchase.

Genfare will continue to service and provide replacement parts for as long as they are available. Should you need to replace a part, please contact your customer service representative. System 7, Version 1 Software of Network Manager/Data System End of Service Announcement (EOS)

The System 7, Version 1 software of Network Manager/Data System has been officially sunset by Genfare. This End of Service Announcement (EOS) is to notify our clients this software is no longer available or supported.

The System 7, Version 1 software can be replaced with one of our Version 2 software platforms, based on your current configuration.

VIP Lite End of Service Announcement (EOS)

The VIP Lite software has been officially sunset by Genfare. This End of Service Announcement (EOS) is to notify our clients this software is no longer available or upgradable.

Ultra Lite Probe and IPAQ End of Life Announcement (EOL)

The Ultra Lite probe and IPAQ have been officially sunset by Genfare. This End of Life Announcement (EOL) is to notify our clients the equipment and software is no longer upgradable.

VeriFone VX700 End of Life Announcement (EOL)

The VX700 pin pad used in the Vendstar ticket vending product line is no longer being manufactured. This product has been officially sunset by VeriFone. As a result, the VX700pin pad is no longer available. 

We recommend upgrading your equipment to the Bezel 8 upgrade path which includes the new EMV credit card functionality to ensure continued credit card service and overall serviceability. Please contact your sales point of contact to review your options. Should you need additional contact information on your sales representation, go to http://www.genfare.com/rep-locator.

Driver Control Unit (DCU) End of Life Announcement (EOL)

The DCU has been officially sunset by Genfare. This End of Life Announcement (EOL) is to notify our clients the equipment and software is no longer upgradable. 

We recommend upgrading your equipment to an Operator Control Unit (OCU) solution to ensure service and serviceability. Please contact your sales point of contact to review your options. Skipjack End of Service Announcement (EOS)

On Thursday, September 1 2016, the Skipjack platform will be decommissioned. Please see below for important information regarding your current gateway service provided by Skipjack.

What services will be decommissioned with Skipjack?

Effective, Thursday, September 1, 2016, Skipjack will cease to offer transaction processing services and payment processing applications to include reporting inquiries and merchant boarding requests.  This discontinuation includes:

Virtual Terminal (Hosted at https://secure.skipjack.com and https://payments.skipjack.com/vterm) Skipjack’s Plug-in for QuickBooks® FormBuilder hosted payments Custom payment applications Points-of-integration PowerPay (lockbox application) How do I limit impacts to my business?

Skipjack realizes that each of our integration partners is unique, and their application and implementation vary by client, and those implementations methods are often unknown to Skipjack.  You should contact your bankcard merchant services provider, or third-party integrated service provider to discuss alternate payment platform options. Part of decommissioning Skipjack includes a commitment from Skipjack and your providers to offer viable alternatives to make the migration process easier.

Skipjack will provide additional notifications as we progress towards the September 1, 2016 deadline to keep everyone informed of the discontinuation in these services.

Vendstar 2 (also known as TVM-2)

Genfare will no longer be manufacturing the Vendstar 2 Ticket Vending Machine (TVM-2). This product has been officially sunset by Genfare. As a result, the equipment and software is no longer upgradable.

We recommend upgrading your equipment to a Vendstar-3 or Vendstar-e to ensure service and serviceability. Please contact your sales point of contact to review your options. Should you need additional contact information on your sales representation, go to http://www.genfare.com/rep-locator.

The PEM1 is no longer being manufactured. This product has been officially sunset by Genfare. As a result, the equipment and software is no longer upgradable.

We recommend upgrading your equipment to one of many Point of Sale devices to ensure service and serviceability. Please contact your sales point of contact to review your
